Mohinder Pal Bansal is the Founding Partner and Chairman of Blacksoil Group. He provides management and corporate advisory to clients along with assisting in various formats of capital raising and restructuring.

Mohinder is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience and has advised corporates like Allcargo Global Logistics, Navneet Education, Prince Pipes, EduHold NV, Amforge Industries and Bank of Punjab with M&A, capital markets, fund management, and portfolio integration. He also serves on the board of six notable companies.

Virendra Gala is the promoter of Mahavir Agency which is engaged in the real estate advisory business.

He has over 25 years of real estate financing and broking experience with expertise across the real estate value chain from land acquisition to possession of fully developed projects. He specializes in enabling sale and acquisition of large parcels of industrial lands, strategizing marketing, and bulk buying of large real estate projects and has successfully completed transactions of ~7 million sq ft of industrial & land parcels for developers across Western Mumbai.

Chirag Shah is a Director at Walton Street BlackSoil Real Estate Partners Private Limited, where he leads fund-raising and investments across alternative credit AIFs, spanning both real estate and non-real estate segments.

He plays a key role in sourcing investment opportunities, transaction management, structuring, and asset management. With over a decade of experience in fund management, Chirag has been instrumental in setting up multiple Category II AIF credit funds across real estate and non-real estate sectors.

He also serves as a Director at BlackSoil AMC, overseeing credit funds across both segments. Over the years, he has been involved in managing Assets Under Management (AUM) of over ₹3000Cr.

Chirag holds an MBA in Finance.
